2018 NFL Draft order and needs: Teams 11-20

This is the first-round order of the 2018 NFL Draft, with a look at the top positional needs for every team. The draft order is determined by record, and using strength of schedule as a tiebreaker (record and strength of schedule are official tiebreakers to determine the draft order).

Note: Strength of schedule listed in parentheses. The tie between the Redskins and Packers was broken by their win-loss-tie percentages in common games. The tie between the Cowboys and Lions was broken by their win-loss-tie percentages in conference games.

Needs: DL, LB, QB, TE, CB. Finding Ryan Tannehill's eventual replacement should be on the to-do list for Miami. Ndamukong Suh's departure means the Dolphins will need to find depth for their defensive tackle rotation. While MLB Raekwon McMillan will be making his debut after missing last season with an ACL tear, help at outside linebacker is needed. The Dolphins swung and missed with Julius Thomas, who was released, so look for TE to be a target. I expect Miami to add more competition at the CB position at some point in the draft.

Needs: QB, OL, WR, S, LB. The addition of AJ McCarron shouldn't keep the Bills from picking a QB early in the draft. With the departure of Cordy Glenn and loss of Eric Wood, it's safe to say that adding talent along the offensive line is a priority. Buffalo might want to add a shifty, high-volume target at wide receiver to help whoever ends up starting at QB. The Bills could be looking for depth in the secondary, and a future starter at linebacker.

Needs: DL, LB, CB, OG, QB. Washington needs to find a stout run-stopper along the interior of the defensive line. Finding a rangy linebacker to captain the defense should be one of their top priorities, too. With the departure of Kendall Fuller and potential loss of Bashaud Breeland in free agency, they should look to add a cornerback who can help right away. The Redskins should also be searching for help at guard, as well as a young QB to groom behind Alex Smith, even after trading for Kevin Hogan.

Needs: CB, OT, WR, OLB, ILB. The Packers drafted a CB with their top pick last year (Kevin King), but they still need to upgrade that spot, and the safety position as well. Injuries have plagued the Packers' offensive tackles and they might look for more help at the RT spot. The departure of Jordy Nelson combined with the lack of production from Randall Cobb means wide receiver could be an early priority. The time has come for Green Bay to add another pass rusher and more speed at inside linebacker.

Needs: QB, OL, WR, CB, S. The Cardinals still should be looking for their QB of the future, even after signing Sam Bradford to a two-year deal. The Cardinals have Andre Smith at RT, but need more depth and competition there, as well as at center. Larry Fitzgerald is coming to the end of his career and help is needed in the receiving corps. The Cardinals need to add talent at both cornerback and safety following the release of Tyrann Mathieu.

Needs: WR, TE, ILB, OL, QB. The Ravens should be looking to add a big-play TE for Joe Flacco, and still could stand to add a WR, even after signing Michael Crabtree. It would make sense for them to look to add a banger and/or a cover guy at linebacker. With the loss of center Ryan Jensen, the Ravens might have to shuffle and add pieces up front. Joe Flacco is 33 years old and his play hasn't matched his contract for three years. Finding a young QB with the talent to develop into a starter should be on their radar.

Needs: OT, ILB, DL, QB, S. The Chargers should be looking for an upgrade over Russell Okung and Joe Barksdale at tackle. They have a fantastic set of edge rushers in Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, but need to become more stout along the interior of the defensive line and at inside linebacker. While it might not be an early round priority, they could use another young QB to groom, in addition to Cardale Jones, behind Philip Rivers. With Tre Boston still a free agent, safety could be in play for the Chargers in the draft.

Needs: OL, CB, DL, TE, S. The Seahawks have tried to fix the offensive line by throwing draft picks and the Duane Brown trade at the issue, but they still need to improve at guard and tackle. Restocking the CB and safety spots are a priority after the release of Richard Sherman and with Earl Thomas due to become a free agent after the 2018 season. Trading away Michael Bennett opens up a spot for a pass-rushing defensive end, while tight end has become a need for the Seahawks with the departures of Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson.

Needs: WR, DT, LB, OG, TE. With Dez Bryant gone, wide receiver has become a major need and will likely be a priority in one of the early rounds. Adding a talented, upfield defensive tackle with pass-rush talent should also be a priority. Linebacker must be addressed, while finding more help on the interior offensive line, specifically left guard, should be on the to-do list. With Jason Witten's career winding down, the Cowboys could look for his successor.

Needs: DE, TE, RB, OG, LB. The Lions placed the franchise tag on Ziggy Ansah, but they still need to add a disruptive defensive end. Eric Ebron is gone and Luke Willson is in at TE, but the Lions need to find a legitimate pass-catching threat at the position. Detroit simply hasn't been able to get a consistent running game going. Part of the blame lies with the offensive line, and part of it at the RB spot. The Lions could look to add more talent around Jarrad Davis at linebacker.
