2024 NFL Season, Week 4: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 4 Sunday:

  • Atlanta Falcons linebacker Troy Andersen (knee) did not return against the Saints.
  • Buffalo Bills safety Taylor Rapp suffered a concussion in the first half against the Ravens.
  • Chicago Bears offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (ribs) did not return against the Rams.
  • Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (neck) was ruled out against the Panthers. Coach Zac Taylor said Hendrickson is dealing with a neck stinger.
  • Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Ethan Pocic (ankle) did not return against the Raiders.
  • Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie (back) was ruled out against the Jets. Badie was placed on a backboard and carted to the locker room in the first quarter.
  • Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (ankle) was carted to the locker room and later ruled out against the Vikings. Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (ankle) did not return.
  • Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, who was ruled out against the Steelers, is believed to have suffered a hip pointer, NFL Network's Cam Wolfe reported. The hope is that Richardson misses very little or no game action, but he will be evaluated this week, per Wolfe. Running back Jonathan Taylor did not return after hurting his ankle in the second half. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Taylor suffered what is believed to be a mild high ankle sprain and the team will know more about his status on Monday.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Josh Hines-Allen (concussion) was ruled out against the Texans.
  • Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is feared to have suffered a significant injury, likely an ACL tear, against the Chargers that could cost him his season, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Head coach Andy Reid said Rice will undergo an MRI on Monday.
  • Las Vegas Raiders OL Dylan Parham (Achilles) did not return against the Browns.
  • New England Patriots center David Andrews (shoulder), offensive tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle) and safety Kyle Dugger (ankle) did not return against the 49ers.
  • New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (abdomen) was ruled out against the Falcons. Safety Tyrann Mathieu (groin) did not return.
  • Philadelphia Eagles safety Reed Blankenship (illness) was ruled out against the Buccaneers.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman James Daniels (ankle) and running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) were ruled out against the Colts.
  • San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) and wide receiver Jacob Cowing (shoulder) did not return against the Commanders. Defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (knee) was ruled out.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer (concussion) was ruled out against the Eagles. Linebacker SirVocea Dennis (shoulder) did not return.
