2024 NFL Season, Week 6: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 6 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals linebacker Kyzir White (knee) did not return versus the Packers. Defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (stinger) was ruled out. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was ruled out with a concussion. Safety Joey Blount (hamstring) did not return. Offensive lineman Evan Brown (ankle) did not return. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (neck) ruled out.
  • Atlanta Falcons safety Justin Simmons suffered a hamstring injury and did not return versus the Panthers.
  • Chicago Bears long snapper Scott Daly suffered a knee injury in the first quarter against Jacksonville and was ruled out for the game. Defensive Kyler Gordon (hamstring) was ruled out in the second half.
  • Cleveland Browns center Nick Harris fractured his fibula and will require surgery, head coach Kevin Stefanski said. RB Jerome Ford (hamstring) was ruled out. Wide receiver Elijah Moore and cornerback Martin Emerson have rib injuries, per Stefanski.
  • Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II left Sunday's loss with a concussion and is now in the protocol.
  • Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson (lower leg) was carted off the field during the third quarter versus the Cowboys. He had an air cast on his leg.
  • Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) was ruled out versus the Cardinals.
  • Houston Texans tackle Laremy Tunsil (ankle) did not return versus the Patriots. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) was ruled out.
  • Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly (calf) was ruled out versus the Titans.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne (hamstring) did not return against the Bears.
  • Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh (illness) went to the locker room just before kickoff versus the Broncos, but returned midway through the first quarter. Wide receiver Quentin Johnston injured his ankle. Tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) was ruled out. Defensive back Deane Leonard (hamstring) was ruled out.
  • New England Patriots tackle Vederian Lowe (ankle) was ruled out versus the Texans. Safety Marte Mapu (neck) did not return.
  • New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) was ruled out versus the Buccaneers. Safety Tyrann Mathieu (forearm) was ruled out.
  • New York Giants offensive tackle Andrew Thomas told reporters he is dealing with a foot injury that he will undergo an MRI for on Monday.
  • Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) was ruled out versus the Browns. Cornerback Darius Slay (knee) was ruled out. Tackle Jordan Mailata (hamstring) was ruled out.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier (ankle) exited to the locker room for treatment and did not return versus the Raiders.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Jamel Dean (hamstring) was ruled out versus the Saints.
  • Washington Commanders defensive end Dorance Armstrong (rib) was ruled out versus the Ravens. Defensive tackle Jonathan Allen (pectoral) was ruled out.
