Bengals' Joe Burrow (back) full participant at practice, set to start Sunday vs. Texans

The Cincinnati Bengals and their fan base can collectively loosen up.

Joe Burrow, hampered by back tightness throughout the practice week, was a full participant in Friday's practice and is good to go for Sunday's matchup with the Houston Texans, coach Zac Taylor told reporters.

The quarterback was officially listed as questionable on Cincinnati's final injury report.

Burrow drew limited designations in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but maintained he would play in Sunday's marquee matchup. That will indeed be the case.

The three-time Pro Bowler missed nine games in 2025 and seven in 2023 due to injuries, so the Queen City is on high alert anytime Burrow has injury concerns. The franchise quarterback is good to go this time around, though.

Burrow was 25 of 35 for 254 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Cincinnati's 33-27 season-opening win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Burrow and the Bengals (1-0) kick off on the road against the Texans (0-1) at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
