DeMarco Murray compares Titans' O-line to Cowboys'

DeMarco Murray has experience running behind the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line, which helped him earn 1,845 yards and the Offensive Player of the Year award in 2014. Murray now runs behind a growing Tennessee Titans line that's on its way to battling the Cowboys for the title of best blocking unit in the NFL.

"How close are they?" he said of the Titans' line on the Talk of Fame Network. "I mean, I run behind these guys every day. I have a lot of respect for Dallas and those guys -- Zack [Martin] and Trav [Frederick] and Tyron [Smith] and Doug Free. I'm still great friends with them. I think with the line we have here in Nashville with the Titans [that] we're one of the top in the league."

The Titans own one of the top tackle tandems in Taylor Lewan and Jack Conklin, guards Josh Kline and Quinton Spain are among the top third at their positions, and Ben Jones is a top 10 center.

Tennessee ranked third in the NFL in rushing yards in 2016, with four yards per carry, and allowed the seventh-fewest sacks in the NFL. The Cowboys line last year -- roundly believed to be the best in the NFL -- helped Ezekiel Elliott lead the NFL in rushing and gave up the same number of sacks (28) as the Titans.

"Definitely, I would put our line up against anyone, just the way those guys work and how they handle themselves on and off the field. I think it's remarkable," Murray said.
