Irsay writes Colts have 7 candidates for GM job

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Colts owner Jim Irsay says that by Monday night, the Colts will have interviewed seven candidates for their open general manager's job.

Irsay posted the comment on Twitter. The only name Irsay confirmed in the post was Montreal Alouettes GM Jim Popp.

Other reports say Indianapolis has received permission to interview Tom Ciskowski of Dallas, Les Snead and David Caldwell of Atlanta, Marc Ross of the New York Giants and Ryan Grigson of Philadelphia. Colts director of player personnel Tom Telesco also is believed to be in the mix.

The job opened Monday when Irsay fired Indy vice chairman Bill Polian and his son, Chris, the Colts' GM.

Indy also has announced the signing of receivers Jarred Fayson and Jeremy Ross to future contracts.
