NFL players tweet about LSU vs. Alabama

It might not be the Super Bowl, but a rematch of last year's Bowl Championship Series national championship game is always a worthy talking point among the NFL fraternity.

The Southeastern Conference showdown between defending BCS champion Alabama and runner-up Louisiana State on Saturday night drew plenty of attention from NFL players on Twitter.

Of course, very few NFL players actually got the chance to attend the game -- and even fewer had the social media savvy to tweet from the sideline.

But New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley managed to do both while cheering on the Tigers to pull off the upset:
