Giants' D-line breaks out in upset win over Chiefs.

The Giants enjoyed one of their best offensive performances in years last week, eclipsing 500 total yards. And yet, they lost an overtime heartbreaker to the Cowboys, in part because the defensive front four -- a strength of the roster -- struggled to get stops late. New York has a big opportunity this Sunday night with winless Kansas City coming to town for a spotlight showdown. My prediction: The Giants' D has a breakout game with five sacks -- Brian Burns and Abdul Carter each log two -- to help New York pull off the biggest upset of the week. Andy Reid starts 0-3 for the first time since 1999, his first season as Eagles head coach.

Carson Wentz shines in victorious Vikings debut.

Wentz will get the start against the Bengals in place of an injured J.J. McCarthy. He will be the first QB to start for six teams in a six-year span since 1950, but that doesn't mean the journeyman can't play some good ball when asked. In Kevin O'Connell's offense, Wentz throws four touchdown passes to lift Minnesota to victory.

Dak Prescott breaks Cowboys record to finish week as fantasy QB1.

Prescott is heating up after a strong Week 2, but he has yet to truly catch fire. Through two weeks, no team has allowed more passing touchdowns (seven) or fantasy points per game (28.09) to opposing quarterbacks than Chicago. Embers, meet gasoline. Prescott will break the Cowboys’ single-game record with six passing TDs on Sunday to finish as the No. 1 QB in fantasy.

Vikings' Jordan Mason is fantasy RB1 in Week 3.

Just by the eye test, it looked like Mason was on his way to taking over the Minnesota backfield. With Aaron Jones (hamstring) on injured reserve, the job is all Mason’s for the time being. With Carson Wentz getting the start under center, expect Kevin O’Connell to lean on his running game against a Bengals defense that has been generous to RBs on the ground and through the air.

Get-right game for two struggling running backs.

New England's TreVeyon Henderson and Kansas City's Isiah Pacheco have their breakout performances of the 2025 season. Henderson takes advantage of the Steelers, who have allowed 10 explosive runs (10-plus yards) this season, fourth-most in the NFL through Week 2. Pacheco goes back home to New Jersey and finds paydirt vs. the Giants in a game that finally has positive game script. It'll be his first rushing TD since Week 1 of last season.

Lamar Jackson and Jared Goff throw five TDs apiece in Monday night shootout.

Confirming all of our expectations, two of the league's best offenses offer up some serious fireworks during Monday night's Lions-Ravens clash in Baltimore. Jackson and Goff are tied for the most TD passes (six) this season. They almost match those totals when they meet in prime time, tossing five touchdowns each.
