Niners re-sign backup TE Bajema

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Tight end Billy Bajema re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers on Friday, agreeing to a one-year deal.

Bajema, a restricted free agent, is entering his fourth NFL season. He has been a backup and a blocking specialist with the 49ers, catching just five passes -- all during his rookie year in 2005.
