Packers DT Letroy Guion arrested on DUI charge

Green Bay's Letroy Guion is back in trouble with the law.

According to the Honolulu Police Department, the defensive tackle was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant. This happened around 4:22 Wednesday morning in Waikiki, per police.

He was released after posting a $500 bond.

The team released this statement regarding his arrest:

"The Packers are aware of the matter involving Letroy Guion. We will refrain from making any further comment as it is an ongoing legal matter."

This is not Guion's first time with off-the-field issues. In 2015, he was banned for the first three games of the season following his arrest for possession of marijuana and a firearm. He wound up paying a $5,000 fine as part of a plea agreement.

Guion has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, the NFL announced in March.

Last offseason, the Packers inked Guion to a three-year, $11.25 million deal.
