Keep your eye on ...
Miami's best QB since Marino: The Dolphins have gone through quarterbacks since Dan Marino's retirement in 1999, but Chad Pennington has been the best of them all, and his first season isn't yet finished. Pennington is 282 passing yards shy of becoming the first Dolphins QB since Marino to pass for 3,500 yards, and he's just 134 yards shy of his career high (3,352), set with the Jets in 2006.

Brown the Pro Bowl player:Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown was selected to his first Pro Bowl on Tuesday, despite topping 100 rushing yards just three times this season. Brown has 10 rushing touchdowns, but he has been losing touches to teammate Ricky Williams late in the season. Still, Brown will have a good shot at 100 yards when he faces Kansas City's 30th-ranked run defense Sunday.

KC's pass rush: It's hard to believe the Chiefs have just nine sacks this season when 12 players around the league have at least that many, but the offseason departure of Jared Allen has left Kansas City without a big-time pass rusher. Nevertheless, the Chiefs managed three sacks against the Chargers last week, but will be hard-pressed to repeat that performance against a Dolphins offensive line that has allowed just two sacks over the last three games.
