Rams' Spagnuolo hopes Bradford can practice Wednesday

Quarterback Sam Bradford isn't having a dream second season for the St. Louis Rams, and to make matters worse, his lingering high ankle sprain just won't go away.

Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said Monday that Bradford aggravated the injury that caused him to miss two games this season during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Spagnuolo said Monday that Bradford was sore, but he believed the quarterback would be able to practice Wednesday.

Bradford played the entire game and was 17-of-31 passing for 203 yards and one touchdown.

Safety Darian Stewart has concussion-like symptoms and will need to be cleared before he can practice.

The Rams are closer to getting several players back. Wide receiver Danario Alexander (hamstring) is expected to return this week, and defensive tackle Justin Bannan (shoulder) and linebacker Josh Hull (hamstring) will be questionable.
