The National Football League has announced that RAYE will headline the halftime show during the 2025 NFL London games matchup presented by NetApp between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Oct. 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
With her debut album, My 21st Century Blues, propelling her to global success, RAYE has become a powerhouse in modern British music. The album's hit single "Escapism" helped her win a record-breaking six BRIT Awards in 2024 -- the most by any artist in a single year -- solidifying her status as a major headliner, including at Glastonbury 2025. Having been praised by the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Charli xcx, Doja Cat and SZA, the South London native delivered electrifying performances at this year's 97th Academy Awards and 67th GRAMMY® Awards, where she made history as the only artist ever nominated simultaneously for both "Best New Artist" and "Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical)" in the same year.
"I'm very grateful to NFL for inviting me and the band to perform during this halftime show," said RAYE. "Hopefully we can provide a memorable and entertaining moment for the crowd and viewers at home."
"London continues to be a second home for the NFL, and each year we look to elevate the entertainment we bring to fans," said Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and entertainment at the NFL. "RAYE is one of the U.K.'s most exciting artists, and we know she'll deliver an incredible performance for our fans which continues to showcase the NFL's approach to providing the best in sports and entertainment."
Ahead of the game, singer and songwriter Pixie Lott will perform the English National Anthem "God Save the King."
"Singing the National Anthem before the game is a massive honor," said Pixie Lott. "I know the energy is going to be electric and getting to be a part of that, representing my country, is very special. I can't wait to see the stadium full of fans for what's going to be an incredible day."
"The NFL is committed to delivering an unforgettable gameday experience for fans in London, a city that has hosted 40 regular season games since 2007," said Henry Hodgson, general manager of NFL U.K. & Ireland. "We are proud of the legacy we've built here, and want to meet our fans' expectations of a premium sporting and entertainment experience by bringing premium artists like RAYE to perform at NFL London games halftime shows."
Beyond the NFL's first game in-market, the league is committed to growing the game at every level across the country, engaging with fans year-round through partners, programs and initiatives, including NFL Flag and community events.
