Sixteen players arrested since lockout started March 12

Adolpho Birch, the NFL's senior vice president of labor policy and player development, said this offseason that players will be held accountable under the league's personal-conduct policy for infractions committed during the lockout, which started March 12. Sixteen players, including Kenny Britt of the Tennessee Titans twice, have been arrested since that date.

They are:

» Akeem Jordan, LB, Philadelphia Eagles -- Arrested June 19 and charged with misdemeanor assualt and battery in Virginia.

» Raheem Brock, DE, Seattle Seahawks -- Arrested June 16 and charged with theft after reportedly walking out on a $27 bill at the Copabanana in Philadelphia.

» Javarris James, RB, Indianapolis Colts -- Arrested June 9 and charged with marijuana possession in Fort Myers, Fla.

» Kenny Britt, WR, Tennessee Titans -- Arrested June 8 in New Jersey on two counts of resisting arrest.

» Garrett Wolfe, RB, Chicago Bears -- Arrested May 22 and charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest with violence.

» Alex Magee, DE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Arrested May 9 and charged with possession of marijuana and driving on tags expired for more than six months.

» Antwan Applewhite, LB, San Diego Chargers -- Arrested May 6 and charged with driving under the influence.

» William Moore, S, Atlanta Falcons -- Arrested April 19 and charged with speeding, driving with a suspended license and failure to appear.

» Kenny Britt, WR, Tennessee Titans -- Arrested April 12 and charged with eluding a police officer and lying to an officer, hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental function.

» Mike Vrabel, LB, Kansas City Chiefs -- Arrested April 4 and charged with theft at the Belterra Casino Resort in Florence, Ind.

» Louis Murphy, WR, Oakland Raiders -- After being pulled over April 3 in Gainesville, Fla., for playing music too loud, Murphy was arrested and charged with possession of a drug without a valid prescription, failure to obey a police officer and resisting arrest without violence.

» Aqib Talib, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Talib turned himself in to Dallas-area police March 30 on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

» Jason Peters, OT, Philadelphia Eagles -- After being pulled over March 26 in Shreveport, La., for playing music too loud, Peters was charged with violating the city's loud music ordinance and resisting arrest.

» Johnny Jolly, DT, Green Bay Packers -- A March 25 traffic stop led to Jolly's arrest on possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Police said Jolly was found with a bottle containing 600 grams of codeine.

» Bryan McCann, CB, Dallas Cowboys -- Arrested March 19 in Dallas and charged with public intoxication.

» Mario Henderson, DT, free agent -- The former Raider was arrested March 17 in Fort Myers, Fla. Police pulled him over for playing music too loud and charged him with carrying a concealed firearm.

» Chris Cook, CB, Minnesota Vikings -- Arrested March 12 in Lynchburg, Va., on a misdemeanor charge of brandishing a firearm.
