Houston continues to add to its quarterback room.
Days after signing journeyman signal-caller Tyrod Taylor to a one-year deal, the Texans swung a trade Friday for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. The trade is a late-round pick swap, Rapoport reported, executed so the Bengals move up around 30 spots in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Bengals confirmed the move later Friday.
Finley, 26, was slated to be released, and Rapoport reported earlier Friday the QB was already heading out the door. But before the move was made official, Houston swooped in and acquired the third-year QB.
In his two seasons in Cincinnati, Finley, a 2019 fourth-round pick out of N.C. State, started four and played in eight games, filling in injured starters Andy Dalton and Joe Burrow. Finley has completed 58 of 119 passes (48.7 comp. pct.) for 630 yards, three TDs and four picks in those games.
Finley will join the newly acquired Taylor and Deshaun Watson in Houston's QB corps.
Also in Houston, the Texans agreed to terms with veteran punter Cameron Johnston to a three-year, $8 million deal, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. Johnston will replace Bryan Anger, who was released Thursday. Johnston, 29, spent the last three seasons in Philadelphia.
In other Bengals news, Cincinnati agreed to terms with offensive tackle Riley Reiff and released offensive tackle Bobby Hart.
Reiff's one-year deal is for $7.5 million including a $5.5 million signing bonus, according to Pelissero. Void year lowers the team's cap to about $3.7 million.

- Wide receiver Kenny Golladay, the highest player available in Gregg Rosenthal's Top 101 NFL free agents of 2021, has finished Friday's visit with the New York Giants, per Rapoport. New York remains interested and the two sides will remain in contact after their meeting went well, Rapoport added. Former Titans first-round pick Adoree' Jackson is slated to take a free-agent visit with the Giants, Rapoport reported. Tennessee released the cornerback this week. New York signed linebacker Reggie Ragland.
- Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz was due a $10 million roster bonus Friday, but the Colts have broken that up, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported. Of the $10 million bonus, $5 million will be payable in July and the other half will be payable early next year. The move is an example of Wentz helping his new team with cash flow, Garafolo added.
- Detroit Lions defensive lineman Michael Brockers had his contract restructured following this week's trade from the Rams, per Garafolo. Brockers' new deal is for three years, $24 million with $11 million fully guaranteed. Garafolo added that Brockers' previous contract had no guarantees, and the Rams tried to slash his pay before dealing him. The Lions re-signed veteran long snapper Don Muhlbach, who has been with the organization since 2004. Detroit also announced the signings of defensive end Charles Harris and running back Jamaal Williams.
- The Philadelphia Eagles are signing safety Anthony Harris to a one-year deal for $5 million, Rapoport reported via agent Drew Rosenhaus. The former Vikings defensive back co-led the NFL with six interceptions in 2019.
- The Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting free-agent quarterback C.J. Beathard on a tryout, Rapoport reported via the wire.
- The Carolina Panthers have reached agreement on a two-year, $6 million deal with tight end Dan Arnold, Good Morning Football's Peter Schrager reported. Arnold set career highs in catches (31), yards (438) and touchdowns (four) last year with the Cardinals. Now he's reunited with Carolina offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who was with the Saints in 2018 for Arnold's rookie year.
- The Buffalo Bills are signing former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jacob Hollister to a one-year deal, Pelissero reported. Hollister played with Bills quarterback Josh Allen at Wyoming.
- Cody Parkey is returning to Cleveland. The kicker is re-signing with the Browns on a one-year deal, Pelissero reported Friday. Parkey made 19 of 22 field-goal attempts and 43 of 47 extra-point tries with the Browns in 2020. The Browns are signing defensive tackle Malik Jackson to a one-year deal, per Pelissero. The former Pro Bowler spent the past two seasons with the Eagles after successful runs with the Jaguars and Broncos. Cleveland also agreed to terms with receiver JoJo Natson, linebacker Elijah Lee and tackle Greg Senat. The Browns also confirmed the signing of former Colts linebacker Anthony Walker.
- The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms with linebacker Brandon Copeland on a one-year deal, per his agent.
- The New England Patriots signed defensive lineman Montravius Adams and linebacker Raekwon McMillan. The Pats' signing of tight end Jonnu Smith also became official.
- JuJu Smith-Schuster is returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year deal.
- The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms to bring back linebacker Jayon Brown.
- The Dallas Cowboys signed wide receiver Malik Turner and cornerback C.J. Goodwin.
- The San Francisco 49ers signed wide receiver Trent Sherfield to a one-year deal and waived wide receiver Chris Thompson. They also re-signed cornerback Dontae Johnson to a one-year deal. Rapoport reported former Packers starting guard Lane Taylor visited the Niners on Friday, mostly as a medical check-in five months off an ACL tear.
- The New York Jets signed a one-year deal with tight end Tyler Kroft. The pact will pay Kroft $2 million with $1.5 million guaranteed and has a max value of $3 million, Pelissero reported.
- The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with veteran long snapper Patrick Scales.
