Aaron Rodgers (wrist) to return, start for Steelers vs. Bills on Sunday

Despite dealing with a left wrist injury, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is off the Pittsburgh Steelers' injury report and will start Sunday against Buffalo Bills.

"He was a full participant today with no designation for the game, so it's all systems go," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told repoters on Friday.

Rodgers, who was injured in the Steelers' Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, missed Pittsburgh's Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears with veteran Mason Rudolph filling in.

Now he'll return for a pivotal matchup against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills aiming to steer the Steelers in another direction after losing two of their last three to see their AFC North lead over the Baltimore Ravens dwindle to half a game.

Also on the docket, perhaps, for Rodgers is some history. He enters the game with 64,921 passing yards -- 79 away from becoming only the fifth player in league chronicle to reach 65,000.

Roders has completed 192 of 289 passes this year (66.4%) for 1,969 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

The Steelers (6-4) kick off at the versus the Bills (7-4) at 4:25 p.m. ET.
