Brady Quinn is back in the news business.
The former first-round quarterback announced his own release from the Miami Dolphins.
Quinn signed with the Dolphinsearlier this month during training camp, after injuries to the back end of the team's quarterback depth chart.
Prior to joining the Dolphins, Quinn signed a television deal to work as an analyst for Fox Sports, but the agreement allowed him to pursue NFL opportunities. This led to a reported workout for Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels in Denver before Miami called.
Quinn played in just one preseason game with the Dolphins, going 4-of-4 passing for 22 yards.
The "Around The NFL Podcast" has takeaways from every team after Week 3 of the preseason.
