Injuries: Ty Montgomery (ribs) misses rest of game

As if things couldn't get any worse for the Packers, they lost  without their leading running back for the remainder of their 44-21 loss to Atlanta in the NFC Championship Game.

Ty Montgomery did not return after suffering a ribs injury in the third quarter.

Montgomery had just three rushes for 17 yards and the Packers were down 31-0 at the time of his exit. Christine Michael is taking snaps in Montgomery's absence.

While Green Bay's receivers were still healthy and on the field (Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, Geronimo Allison), the Packers were shorthanded at other positions.

Guard T.J. Lang did not return after being carted off with a foot injury in the third quarter. Micah Hyde (shoulder), linebacker Jake Ryan (shoulder) and safety Kentrell Brice (shoulder) were also ruled out for the rest of the game.

Here are the other injuries we are tracking on Sunday:

  1. Steelers linebacker James Harrison (shoulder, triceps) was active against the Patriots, while tight end Ladarius Green (concussion, illness) was inactive.
  1. Patriots wideout Malcolm Mitchell (knee) is active and played, while wide receiver Malcolm Floyd was inactive.

Safety Nate Ebner left and didn't return to the game with a head injury.

  1. Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell left the game with a left groin injury. He returned for one snap, and then left and didn't return.
