Rashod Bateman has received a contract extension for the second consecutive offseason.
The Baltimore Ravens announced they signed the wideout to a new deal on Thursday.
NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported that it is a three-year extension worth $36.75 million with $20 million guaranteed, per sources informed of the deal. The extension puts Bateman under contract through the 2029 season.
In April of 2024, the Ravens signed Bateman to a two-year, $12.87 million extension. The 2021 first-round pick responded with his most productive season, generating 756 yards on 45 caches with nine touchdowns -- he'd previously had four total touchdowns in his first three seasons.
With two years left on his deal, the Ravens ensured he'd be around longer while also goosing his guaranteed money.
Despite never having a massive season, Bateman plays a key role in the Ravens offense. This offseason, Baltimore added DeAndre Hopkins to the equation. The trio of WR1 Zay Flowers, Bateman and Hopkins represents the best wideout crew Baltimore has boasted in years.
The Ravens had several extension candidates this offseason, including Lamar Jackson, Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Linderbaum. First, they locked down their No. 2 receiver.
