Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson hurt his hamstring during Sunday's blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs as injuries continue to mount for a Baltimore team that now sits at 1-3.
Jackson suffered the injury during the third quarter and was relieved by Cooper Rush with the Ravens trailing, 30-13.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh told reporters after the game that he did not know the severity of Jackson's injury, per ESPN.
Jackson struggled mightily against a stout Chiefs defense prior to his injury. Two first-half turnovers helped Kansas City jump out to a 10-point lead at halftime, and Jackson endured three sacks on 13 pressures on the afternoon.
Jackson's injury was the most notable on a Sunday that saw multiple key contributors go down. Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley exited with an ankle injury in the first half, and defensive stalwarts Roquan Smith and Marlon Humphrey were lost to hamstring and calf injuries, respectively. Baltimore would also see second-year cornerback Nate Wiggins suffer a chest injury.
Harbaugh told reporters he does not believe any of the injuries from Sunday are season-ending, per ESPN.
The quintet of injuries came after the Ravens placed defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike on injured reserve with a neck injury.
Baltimore next faces the Houston Texans (1-3) on Oct. 5, and Jackson's status will be one to watch as the Ravens look to get out of an early season hole.
