Justin Jefferson and DeVonta Smith were stars of the NFL tunnel in the Week 5 edition of The Fit Files: NFL's Five Best-Dressed, with the former stunting a Burberry coat and matching set and the latter rocking one of his perfectly tailored custom suits. This week, two starting quarterbacks claimed the top spots, while defenders filled out the rest of the ranking with a unique mix of eye-popping outfits.
Before we dig in, a couple of quick notes on our panel. First, regular member Jamie Erdahl took a bye week from the voting and did not participate this week. Second, we are introducing a new permanent panelist, celebrity stylist Ini Sebastian Ikpe. You can learn a little more about him (and the rest of the group) below:

Ini Sebastian Ikpe -- Leading celebrity stylist and image consultant known for his work in sports and entertainment.
- Fashion vision: Styling is more than dressing. It's about crafting a narrative that reflects identity, commands presence and sparks conversation. Dress accordingly.
Jason McCourty -- Super Bowl champion and former cornerback for the Titans, Browns, Patriots and Dolphins (2009-2021); current ESPN studio analyst/CBS game analyst.
- Fashion vision: Fashion is confidence, and confidence is a stain you can't wipe off!
Chad Johnson -- Custom clothier and designer for Duane & Johnson menswear tailoring.
- Fashion vision: Where style outlives the season -- fashion, to me, is making today timeless.
And finally, I am a national TV reporter for NFL Network, and my fashion vision is: Dress how you want to be addressed and wear what helps you exude, "I'm HIM."
A NOTE ON METHODOLOGY: Panelists voted on a list of fits shown off before games from Thursday through Monday, with five points being assigned to each first-place vote, four-points being assigned to each second-place vote, and so on. For players who have previously earned votes, we will list their season point total and mark any prior top-five finishes.
Here, presented in reverse order, are the winners from Week 6:
T5) Charles Omenihu, DE, Kansas City Chiefs
Points: 6 | Season point total: 9
Omenihu has solidified himself as one of the NFL's best-dressed linemen, and this camo jacket paired with leather pants and subtle, clean accessories is a great example of why.
Ikpe described Omenihu's vibe as "street soldier meets luxury casual."
T5) Kyler Gordon, CB, Chicago Bears
Points: 6
Our panel loves it when players take a uniquely creative approach, especially when it comes to mixing one eye-popping piece with denim -- and that's what made Gordon's Week 6 fit stand out.
To Ikpe, Gordon's vibe read as "cozy traveler meets modern streetwear luxury." He noted that the mix of luxe texture "screams fall and pairs perfectly with relaxed denim underneath."
4) Fred Warner, LB, San Francisco 49ers
Points: 7
This was my first-place vote -- a look that perfectly illustrates that style doesn't have to be trendy to be done well. Warner could get this fit off in 2025 or 1925.
Warner exudes confidence with his textured, clean, white polo and black pants, with accessories -- such as sunglasses and bags -- completing the look. It is unfortunate he suffered a season-ending ankle injury against the Bucs. He certainly made an impression with his tunnel fit on Sunday.
T2) Mike Sainristil, CB, Washington Commanders
Points: 8
Ikpe voted Sainristil No. 1 on his ballot, describing this as an elevated vintage and intellectual-chic fit, serving as "a lesson in mixing proportions" where "oversized meets tailored."
Sainristil has always had a creative style, but -- with the NFL's International Games in full swing -- this look made it seem like he's getting a head start on the Commanders' upcoming trip to Europe (they will play in Madrid next month). As Ikpe noted, Sainristil's fit is giving "effortless Parisian energy with an Ivy League twist."
T2) Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders
Points: 8
Daniels traditionally rocks Louis Vuitton in his tunnel fits, but this week's switch-up to a green Prada jacket paired with white dress shirt and black tie ahead of a big prime-time game generated his best look of the season, in this panelist's view. It's a good mix of comfort swag and business professional. I love the black accessory pop, from the shoes to the shades to the toiletry bag.
1) Justin Fields, QB, New York Jets
Points: 11
Fields landed in the top five of three of our five panelists' ballots, earning McCourty's first-place vote. His fit is giving a welcome to fall European look, but it still feels extremely comfortable and natural for a pregame tunnel.
I really like pairing of the tan jacket and brown pants here, but the red bag might be what put the final bow on Fields' placement on top of the list.
Ikpe noted the "quiet luxury tailoring, structured layering and tonal balance," adding, "it's not loud, it's intentional."
