  • QB Matt Barkley (elbow) is considered day to day, head coach Sean McDermott said Sunday.
  • OT Tommy Doyle (knee) is out for the season after suffering an injury against the Steelers, McDermott said Sunday. McDermott also said he is not going to get into the specifics of the injury.
  • DL Shane Ray (hamstring) is considered day to day, per McDermott.

  • CB Troy Hill and the Panthers have agreed to terms on a deal, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. The team also announced the news.

  • The Texans and Saints have mutually agreed to cancel their joint practices that were scheduled this week, the teams announced in a joint statement on Sunday. "DeMeco (Ryans) reached out to me this morning and wasn't sure that ... they had a lot of guys get injured this past week and wasn't sure that we were going to have productive joint practices, so we just thought it was better to go ahead and cancel it," Saints head coach Dennis Allen told reporters Sunday night.

  • RB Jonathan Taylor will travel with the Colts to Philadelphia ahead of their preseason finale against the Eagles, per head coach Shane Steichen. Taylor had previously taken an excused leave of absence and remains on the physically unable to perform list while rehabbing his surgically repaired ankle.

  • CB Isaiah Bolden was released from the hospital after receiving overnight observation for the injury he sustained in Saturday's preseason game against the Packers and he will travel home with the team, per a statement released by the Patriots.

  • QB John Wolford's tests on his neck injury came out "good" and he is feeling better, according to head coach Todd Bowles. Wolford traveled home with the team, per Bowles. The quarterback suffered his injury in Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, after which he was carted off the field and received evaluation at a local hospital.
