  • The Minnesota Vikings and the Wilf family have committed $500,000 to support rescue and recovery efforts in Kerr County and Texas Hill Country following the devastating flash floods that impacted central Texas on July 4, the club announced. "We are deeply saddened by the continued devastation and loss of life in the Texas Hill Country and can't imagine the pain so many are experiencing," Mark, Zygi and Leonard Wilf said in a statement Wednesday. "We are praying for peace for the families who have lost a loved one and strength for those who continue to risk their lives leading the rescue and recovery effort." Minnesota's commitment follows $1.5 million of combined donations pledged by the NFL Foundation, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans on July 6.
