NFL Week 3 injuries to monitor for Sunday's games: Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka (hip/groin) expected to play without limitations vs. Jets

  • RB D'Andre Swift (quad) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Cowboys, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
  • CB Jaylon Johnson, who was ruled out for Sunday's game with a groin injury, plans to fly to Philadelphia early this week to meet with Dr. William Meyers of The Vincera Institute, with core muscle surgery the likely outcome, Rapoport reported, per sources. If that's the case, Johnson would have a chance to return during the second half of the season.

  • LT Jack Conklin, who was listed as questionable to play with an elbow injury, is officially inactive for Sunday.

  • QB Adrian Martinez is expected to be the 49ers' backup quarterback Sunday against the Cardinals, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source. Martinez was Mac Jones' backup in Week 2 with Brock Purdy sidelined by shoulder and toe injuries. Purdy was listed as questionable coming into Sunday's game but was downgraded to out on Sunday.
