  • QB Kyler Murray told reporters Saturday he does not have a "timetable" for return from his torn ACL and is "taking it one day at a time." Murray, who suffered the injury in Week 14 on last year, also mentioned he wouldn't "want to go out and hurt the team or hurt myself" if he was to return before being fully ready.

INJURIES

  • OG Matt Hennessy will be back "sooner than later" after leaving practice Thursday with an injury, head coach Arthur Smith announced Saturday.

  • DL Eddie Goldman has been placed on the exempt/left squad list, meaning that the team is able to open up a roster spot without officially releasing him. Goldman can return to the Falcons, but cannot sign elsewhere.

SIGNINGS

  • QB Reid Sinnett is expected to sign with the Bengals after working out with the team Saturday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. This follows head coach Zac Taylor saying Friday that the team would add a quarterback as Joe Burrow recovers from a calf strain.

  • CB Trevon Diggs has a bruised toe and will only be participating in walkthroughs, head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Saturday. “We’re just being smart with it," McCarthy said, via The Athletic's Michael Gehlken. "We don’t have concern about it.” Owner Jerry Jones later told reporters that Diggs could be out until the team returns to Dallas.
