I was doing a redraft for the fantasy playoffs with my NFL Fantasy Live colleagues, and I selected Josh Allen with the second overall pick in a six-team league. I know quarterbacks are not usually drafted so early in fantasy, but was it really a weird decision? I mean, is there anybody who is more consistent than Allen? He's scored at least 23 fantasy points in three straight games. He has four games with 28 or more points. Oh, and he put up nearly 52 points against the Rams on Sunday. I might be chasing last week's points, but the quarterback position has been so frustrating this year. Anyhow, on to the rest of the notes ...

  • Derrick Henry is back this week after the Ravens' bye. Saquon Barkley and Ja’Marr Chase are the only non-QBs who have scored more fantasy points than him this season. Henry has a great matchup this week against the Giants, who allow the fourth-most rushing yards per game (141.7).
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown has nine receiving touchdowns this season, tied for second-most in the league. This week he'll face the Bills, who have allowed at least two touchdown passes in four of the last five games. Since we're talking about the Lions, go ahead and start David Montgomery, too.
  • One more Lions note: Jahmyr Gibbs has at least 19 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he's averaging close to six yards per rush heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Bills, who have been very generous to running backs this year. Here's something you can drop in your conversations this week: Gibbs is averaging 2.5 yards per carry before contact this season, the most among running backs.
  • De’Von Achane has put up at least 18 fantasy points in eight games this season. He's been the fantasy RB2 since Week 8.
  • Falcons WR Drake London has averaged 11.5 targets per game since Week 10, and he's among the league leaders in red-zone targets this season. The Raiders, Atlanta's opponent this week, have allowed the most passing touchdowns in the NFL since Week 9.
  • On Thursday night the Rams visit the 49ers, a team Cooper Kupp has thrived against. He's notched at least seven receptions in each of his last four games versus San Francisco.
  • Joe Mixon is back this week after the Texans' bye. He's rushed for at least 100 yards in seven of his 10 games this season, but the Week 15 matchup against the Dolphins is tough. Miami has allowed only one running back to top 19 fantasy points since Week 6.

  • Ladd McConkey has 81 targets this season, which is 26 more than the next-closest Chargers player. He's going to feast if he returns from injury to play the Buccaneers this week.
  • Raiders RB Sincere McCormick has seen his touches and yards from scrimmage increase in each game since he was activated from the practice squad last month. He played 60 percent of the snaps in Week 14. He's averaging 5.5 yards per rush, and I love his matchup this week against the Falcons.

  • I know the Saints' situation looks grim right now, with Derek Carr injured. I'm trying to think of who could step up in that lineup. I'm going with Juwan Johnson as a pick to click. He's scored at least 12 fantasy points in two of his last three games and he's been targeted 12 times over the last two games after having 12 in the previous four combined.
  • In addition to his rushing touchdown in Week 14, Jets RB Isaiah Davis had three catches on six targets with Breece Hall sidelined. The Jets really are asking him to do it all. After his rushing TD, he had to get right back onto the field to play on the kickoff coverage unit.
  • Buccaneers WR Jalen McMillan had a pair of touchdowns against the Raiders on Sunday, and while I don't want to chase those scores, it's worth noting he did lead the team with seven targets.
